Stroke Rehabilitation

Dealing with the emotional, behavioral, and physical changes after your loved ones have survived a stroke can be tasking and difficult for family members. Most times it becomes almost impossible for the body parts affected by the stroke to return to normal. This can leave everyone in the family feeling confused, helpless, and wondering how to help the affected individual cope with the immediate challenges of everyday life.

You do not need to move a stroke survivor to a new environment, we will provide experienced caregivers who will offer personalized care for your loved ones. Our home care stroke plans are customized to accommodate a wide variety of services that include around-the-clock care to hourly assistance. All these services are handled by professionals who will work with you to create a plan best suit your needs.

Our stroke care plan includes helping you with the daily tasks & chores of life. From coordinating transportation to scheduling therapists to offering thoughtful and steady companionship can help to reduce depression and stress. Our caregivers are well trained and have the experience to identify areas where a stroke survivor might require support. Nutritious meal preparation. Housekeeping, preventing injuries and falls, assistance with bathing, personal care, dressing, and offering medication reminders. All these are handled by our friendly and compassionate caregivers. We also offer a complimentary medical alarm for continuous monitoring.

Post Stroke Services

Our caregiver can provide the following essential assistance for stroke survivors:

  • Meal preparation and good nutrition
  • Driving and errands
  • Mobility assistance
  • Medication reminders
  • Personal care including hygiene and dressing
  • Emotional support for patient and family
  • Companionship and activities

As though there are many causes and symptoms that are made educational for the awareness when certain signs of it victim is detected like continues headache, trouble walking, paralysis or numbness of the face, arm or leg and many other signs one becomes aware as it occurrence begins. One must seek for an immediate medical attention. There are set of educational information we go through with our caregivers to bring their awareness to some of this signs and causes and the protocol to follow in seeking help for the client. We make sure this training becomes a constant reminder for our caregivers during their periodic training session.

Another area we tend not to overlook as it becomes a very important area of care includes ostomy or colostomy care. As though it is an area of care where the service of a registered nurse is required, however it is an area of service which Certified Nursing Assistance are made to it seriously during the cause of education and this as well an area of care we put in reminder in training our CNA’s during a periodic training session.
